Topological cyclic homology
This expository paper, which is based on notes by Lucy Yang, is a
write-up of my lectures in the 2019 Oberwolfach Seminar "Topological
Cyclic Homology and Arithmetic" organized by Dustin Clausen, Akhil
Mathew, and myself. The lectures give a survey of work by
Ruochuan Liu and Guozhen Wang that employs the method of descent to
determine the structure of topological cyclic homology and prismatic
cohomology of local number rings.
