Algebraic Topology: Lecture 2

We proved that the canonical map from the homotopy groups of a product to the product of the homotopy groups is an isomorphism. We then defined the notion of a weak (homotopy) equivalence. Finally, we introduced relative homotopy groups. See Hatcher, Algebraic Topology, chapter 4.
