Morten S Risager
Professor of Mathematics at Department of Mathematical Sciences, MATH. University of Copenhagen. PhD coordinator at MATH.
- Research interests
- My research interests are in the field of analytic number theory and automorphic forms. The problems I work on are often related to geometric and arithmetic questions on modular surfaces and their generalizations. The techniques I am using are often analytic in nature using the theory of automorphic forms and their L-functions. Many of the questions I investigate arise from the interplay between classical and quantum physical phenomena.
- Teaching
- I am teaching introduction to mathematics, introduction to number theory, and analytic number theory. I have previously been teaching courses in linear algebra, functional analysis, complex analysis, elliptic curves, modular forms, and automorphic forms.
- Mini CV
- PhD from University of Aarhus 2003. I have been working at MPI Bonn, IAS Princton, University of Aarhus, University of Copenhagen, Institut Mittag-Leffler.
