We have written a book on causality that is now being copy-edited and that will appear as open access at MIT Press.

Jupyter Notebooks (in R)

Niklas Pfister and me have created some jupyter notebooks. They are self-contained and contain several coding exercises. As such, they may be a good addition to the book. Currently, we have notebooks for the topics

• Computing Interventions jupyter notebook version; alternatively: R version
• Instrumental Variables jupyter notebook version; alternatively: R version
• Restricted Structural Causal Models jupyter notebook version; alternatively: R version
• Invariant Prediction jupyter notebook version; alternatively: R version

They can be downloaded here. The package contains a "readme" with some instructions for installing jupyter notebook (we apologize if the instructions are out-of-date). Most importantly, you may want to run "setupNotebook.ipynb" first to make sure that everything is working (alternatively: "setupNotebook.r"). Feel free to use the notebooks in your course or seminar. Please send me an email if you are lecturing a course and you are interested in the solutions.
