Other possibilities
We also recommend Hotel de 9 Små Hjem, which is pleasant and inexpensive and offers room with a kitchen. Other inexpensive alternatives are CabInn Hotels that has several locations in Copenhagen: the Hotel City (close to Tivoli) and Hotel Express (Frederiksberg) are the most convenient locations; the latter two are 2.5-3 km from the math department.
Somewhat more expensive - and still recommended - options are Hotel Nora (15 min walk) and Ibsen's Hotel (25 min walk or 7 min bus ride). There are also many AirBnB offers close by!
